Privacy notice

Who we are, what we collect, why, and your rights. Last updated 2026-10-02.

Who is responsible

Dumke Ventures UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Ebersprung 2, 16321 Bernau, Germany. Email hello@chartjump.com. We are the controller under the GDPR for the data described here.

If you appear on Chartjump (GDPR Art. 14)

Chartjump shows how mobile apps market themselves. Some of that marketing involves people: creators who post about an app, founders who talk about their company, and people who appear in ads.

What we collect about apps and public accounts

We do not collect or show the names of people who comment on posts or write App Store reviews. Review texts appear only as short anonymous quotes. We do not infer health, body, ethnicity, religion or similar traits about anyone.

Sources

Meta Ad Library, TikTok public pages and the TikTok Commercial Content Library, Google Ads Transparency Center, the Apple App Store (listings, charts, review feed), and public press articles, podcasts and posts.

Purpose and legal basis

We analyse app marketing so that app makers can learn what works. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and that of our users in market analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We limit what we keep to data published in a commercial context about an app, and we offer removal on request.

Who sees it

Visitors of chartjump.com (a short preview), people with a free account, paying customers, and paying customers who use our API. Our hosting provider Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We delete creator data about posts older than 24 months. Ad entries stay while the ad is listed in the Meta Ad Library and up to 24 months after it stops. When you ask us to remove something, we delete it and stop collecting it again.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, and you can object to our processing at any time (Art. 15 to 18 and 21 GDPR). Use the removal form or email us. We act within 72 hours. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.

If you use Chartjump (GDPR Art. 13)

Retention: account data until you delete your account, invoices for 10 years as German law requires.

Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. Email hello@chartjump.com.
